Frank has been one UK’s new media pioneers since establishing the Arts Technology Centre (Artec) in 1989. Amongst other activities, Artec developed the first vocational training course in digital media in the UK and the European Multimedia Labs. He was a founder member of the UK’s Digital Media Alliance and BAFTA’s Interactive Entertainment Awards before joining the BBC Innovation and Learning as Director of Creative Development. At the BBC Frank directed training and development labs for interactive  television, broadband and cross-platform production.
